Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)

  • Can I apply for PR while on a temporary work or study permit?
    Yes, many temporary residents apply for PR through programs like Canadian Experience Class or Provincial Nominee Programs while in Canada on work or study permits.
  • What are the residency obligation for PRs?
    To maintain your PR status, you must be physically present in Canada for at least 730 days (2 years) in every 5-year period.
  • How long do I need to wait before I can apply for citizenship?
    You can apply for Canadian citizenship after living in Canada as a PR for at least 3 years (1,095 days) out of the 5 years before applying.
  • Can my PR status be revoked?
    Yes, PR status can be revoked if you fail to meet residency obligations, commit serious crimes, or obtained PR through fraudulent means.
  • Can I bring my family with me if I become a PR?
    Yes, you can include your spouse or common-law partner and dependent children in your PR application. They can also join you later through family sponsorship.
  • What's the best time to book a consultation?
    Answer: We recommend booking your consultation as soon as possible to ensure that we can review your case thoroughly and provide timely advice. However, you can book a consultation at any stage of your immigration journey, whether you're just beginning or need help with an ongoing application.
  • Can I book a consultation if I am in another country?
    Answer: Yes! We offer consultations via video call (Zoom, Skype, etc.), so you can book a consultation from anywhere in the world. Simply choose the consultation type and time that works for you, and we will confirm the details. Note: All booking times are in Eastern Standard Time (EST-Toronto)
  • How long does it take to process an immigration application?
    Answer: The processing times are decided by IRCC. More information can be found by clicking the link here.
  • What if I need to reschedule or cancel my consultation?
    Answer: We understand that plans can change! If you need to reschedule or cancel, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. This allows us to accomodate other clients. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a fee
  • What if I don't speak English or French fluently? Can I still book a consultation?
    Answer: Absolutely! We can arrange for a translator if needed to ensure clear communication during your consultation. Our goal is to make the process as smooth as possible, no matter the language barrier.
  • How can I pay for my consultation?
    Answer: We offer multiple payment methods for your convenience, including credit/debit cards, PayPal, and bank transfers. Payment must be made at the time of booking to secure your consultation spot. The checkout page will prompt you to enter your payment details.
  • How do I add a new question & answer?
    To add a new FAQ follow these steps: 1. Manage FAQs from your site dashboard or in the Editor 2. Add a new question & answer 3. Assign your FAQ to a category 4. Save and publish. You can always come back and edit your FAQs.
  • How do I edit or remove the 'Frequently Asked Questions' title?
    You can edit the title from the FAQ 'Settings' tab in the Editor. To remove the title from your mobile app go to the 'Site & App' tab in your Owner's app and customize.
  • Can I insert an image, video, or GIF in my FAQ?
    Yes. To add media follow these steps: 1. Manage FAQs from your site dashboard or in the Editor 2. Create a new FAQ or edit an existing one 3. From the answer text box click on the video, image or GIF icon 4. Add media from your library and save.
